Dr. Schulz will present the POLYNICES project, which focuses on advancing a polymer-based photonic integration platform for heterogeneous integration of:

Integrated THz antennas

A novel electro-optic PCB motherboard
The platform aims to bridge photonic integration with high-frequency electronics, paving the way for scalable, high-performance systems.
The project includes:

A fully integrated THz FMCW spectrometer for plastics quality control

Two quantum processors with integrated photonics targeting next-generation computing architectures
Such cross-disciplinary integration efforts are fully aligned with the POLYNICES vision of strengthening Europe’s leadership in advanced photonic systems and heterogeneous integration technologies.
