On 24 February 2026, the POLYNICES project was presented at the Horizon4Photonics Brokerage Event.
The presentation was delivered by Dr. Dominic Schulz, Head of the Strategy Photonics Group at Fraunhofer HHI, who introduced the project’s goals and recent developments.
During the talk, he highlighted POLYNICES’ work on a polymer-based photonic integration platform for the heterogeneous integration of Si₃N₄ chiplets, InP active components, integrated THz antennas, and a novel electro-optic PCB motherboard.
The event provided a great opportunity to share the project’s vision and connect with experts from across the European photonics community.
