The EU-funded POLYNICES project is advancing the development of external cavity laser sources powered by PZT-based phase actuators. These innovative lasers offer fast tuning and low power consumption, making them ideal for FMCW THz spectrometers.
LioniX International has designed and fabricated these laser sources, which are now undergoing rigorous testing by ICCS and Optagon Photonics. Meanwhile, Optagon Photonics is also leading the development of multi-channel PZT drivers to enable precise phase actuator control. To ensure reliability and performance, PHIX is expertly handling the packaging process.
