The POLYNICES Project was featured at the recent ePIXfab workshop through a technical presentation delivered by Dr. Asrin Piroutiniya, from LeapWave Technologies.
During the presentation, Dr. Piroutiniya showcased the POLYNICES dielectric rod waveguide antenna as part of a flip chip-integrated THz transmitter architecture. The slide highlighted the integration of key components such as the PCB, photodiode chip, tapered slot antenna and dielectric rod antenna, demonstrating the role of antenna design in enabling efficient THz signal transmission.
This contribution reflects POLYNICES’ ongoing work towards the development of innovative photonic and electronic integration solutions for next-generation THz systems and high-frequency wireless applications.
The presentation also served as an important dissemination activity for the project, sharing POLYNICES research outcomes with the broader photonics, integrated systems and THz communications community.
